Safeguarding children from abuse, neglect and exploitation through community structures and psychosocial support.

Strengthening household income through savings groups, entrepreneurship training and sustainable livelihoods.

Improving access to essential health services, nutrition and mental health care for children and families.

Strengthening financial inclusion and resilience in Mbarara and Kakumiro through locally managed revolving funds, savings, and enterprise support reaching 1,000+ members across eight community groups.
SFUCI is strengthening financial inclusion and community resilience through its Community Revolving Funds (CRF) Program in Mbarara and Kakumiro districts. The program currently works with four community groups in each district, collectively reaching more than 1,000 community members with access to locally managed revolving funds, savings mechanisms, and enterprise support.
The CRF model enables communities to mobilize and manage their own financial resources, increasing access to affordable capital for agriculture, small businesses, and other livelihood opportunities. Complemented by training in financial literacy, governance, and business management, the program strengthens local institutions and promotes sustainable, community-led development.
